Description
Minimalist - Black, Lock Screen + Lock Button
Containing two skins, this Rainmeter group is designed to replace the password protection that windows provides. Mostly. Begin by running the Lock Button skin. Once clicked, it will activate the Lock Screen skin, which is where the real protection comes from. It prevents any outside program from overriding the screen real estate, while still allowing background programs like music or downloads, to continue. Click anywhere to prompt for a password, then enter it. Once the correct password has been supplied, the Lock Screen fades and the button reappears, and the process can be repeated.
A complete analysis of its functionality can be found in the "Information" section of its metadata.
Please note, if you're attempting to use this skin independently of the Minimalist - Black theme, you're better off using this version, which is designed to work without the nesting included in the package. Visually, there are no differences.
Additional Plugins required: NONE!
Installation information: open the .rmskin, install to the default directory. Run through the Rainmeter window.
IMPORTANT: To change the password, open the .inc file and change the Unlock variable. This will update the entire skin on its next initialization. For those of you who need some help, it defaults to “Open”.
